Searching EBSCOhost's Academic Search Premier
(1) From the SCC Library homepage, http://library.sccsc.edu, select "Academic Search Premier" listed under the "General Databases" heading. This will take you to the Academic Search Premier's Search Page.
(2) Enter your terms in the Find field. Use “and” to connect your terms. You can also use quotation marks to search terms as a phrase. Click on the “Full Text” box to limit your results to full text.
On the Refine Search sub-tab, select any other search options you want. You can use limiters or expanders to broaden or narrow the focus of your search.

(3) Click Search. The results of your search are displayed.
Many databases present results by source type. You can click on the source icons to view your results by source type (periodicals, newspapers, etc.).
Where a "Sort by" drop-down list is available, you can re-sort your results by author, date, relevance, etc.

Click on the title to get to more information about the article.

(4) This takes you to a screen with information about the article, including the information you will need for your Works Cited page. If the full-text of the article does not show up on this page, you will need to click on the “PDF Full Text” link to get to the article content.
