Also be sure to try our library research guides. These guides are a great place to start your research!
What are they? They highlight recommended resources specific to your subject area or assignment. They will provide recommended databases, books, and websites for a particular subject or assignment (as applicable).
The library research guides can be found on our homepage, in the third column under "Research By Subject." Our most popular guides are on the homepage, but to see a complete list of guides, click on the "See More Subjects" at the bottom of the list.
The guides are organized by class subject (exmaple - English, Biologoy, Health, etc.). Find your subject, and then see if we have a page about your specific class (example - AHS 102 or English 101) or assignment (example - College 103 career research or English 101 human rights project).
The guides have a table of contents at the top to help you navigate to the sections on recommended books, websites, databases, etc. There is also an ask a librarian link at the top and bottom, in case you have any questions.
If you have any questions or would like more research assistance, just remember to ask a librarian (email: firstname.lastname@example.org or phone: 864-592-4654).
