Text Box: SCILS upgrades to the JAVA Version of the Sirsi Software
Text Box: In July of 2006, SCILS updated to the new JAVA based application software, Workflows, for their integrated library computer system.

There were 7- 1/2 day online training sessions from SirsiDynix covering circulation, cataloging, & acquisitions. There were 41 attendees at the SirsiDynix & SCILS training although they were not necessarily the same attendees.

After SCILS went live with the new software, a problem log was created to keep everyone in the loop of communication.
Benefits to the upgrade: completely revised acquisitions module, improved printing, quicker transitions between modules, plus much more.
