If you are asked to "Please enter your library ID, barcode, or other ID" or see any other error message, the system is not recognizing you as an authorized user of InfoTrac. To fix the problem, you need to put a file on your computer with authorization in it.
Adding an Authorization file or Cookie for Gale DatabaseArticles
1. Go to the
Library's home page,
http://library.sccsc.edu.
2. Click
on the "Gale DatabaseArticles" link.
3. If On Campus, skip to step 5
4. Off Campus:
A. Enter
the off-campus user name and
password .
B. Click on "Gale DatabaseArticles"
a second time.
C. Click on "Proceed"
D. Click on "Gale Databases"
E. Go to step
5.
5. Click "Back" until you get to the Library's home page.
6. Click on
"Online Reserves" page. You should be able to view the
article on reserve by clicking on the "Articles for Summarizing" and then
the article title.
Adding an Authorization file or Cookie for Academic Search
Premier Articles
1. Go to the Library's home page,
http://library.sccsc.edu.
2. Click on the "Academic Search Premier" link.
3. If On Campus, skip to step 5
4. Off Campus:
1. Enter the off-campus user name and password in the box
that pops up.
3. Click on "Academic Search Premier" a second time.
4. Click on "EBSCOHost Web"
5. Go to next step.
5. Click "Back" until you get to the Library's
home page.
6. Click on
"Online Reserves" page. You should be able to view the
article on reserve by clicking on the "Articles for Summarizing" and then
the article title.
