SCC Library Virtual Tour


The Information Desk is the focal point as you enter the library.	Computers are arranged in a circular manner around the Information Desk.

The Circulation Desk has ample shelving for the Reserve Room Collection as well as 3 workstations for staff.	New signage throughout the library help point students in the right location.

One of the small group study rooms contains soft seating.	The large group study room.

All tables and study carrels in the library are wired so students can easily use a laptop.

Periodicals are now housed on slanted periodical shelving for easier use by students.	Students enjoy browsing new titles at the What's New display area.

The library features a copy center for students. The assistive technology workstation is also housed in this area of the new library.	Seating groups feature comfortable furnishing with great views.

The Thomas G. Barnet Library Instruction Classroom has computers for hands on instruction as well as a multimedia teaching workstation.

Technical services and public services have individual workrooms - a great behind the scenes improvement.

Library staff offices and storage are located away from the public area of the new library.	A conference room is located in the staff area of the new library.
