2000

Another renovation project - more student seating, a new Library Instruction classroom, increased technology for student use.

With the opening of the Dan Terhune Student Services Building and the relocation of the Book Inn to the Student Services Building, the library was able to add additional student seating in the Summer of 2004. The old Book Inn space was renovated, a doorway was opened between the current library area and the old Book Inn and much needed space for quiet study was added to the library.  In addition, the former Triangle Room was renovated and wired to become the Library Instruction classroom. This new classroom features a multimedia teaching workstation and 30 student computer workstations in a location that diminished noise levels in the main area of the library, improving hands on opportunities and providing new uses of technology while teaching.
