In Fall 1994, the Library brought up its new online catalog system as a group effort with a consortium formed by the libraries from Spartanburg, Greenville, Tricounty and York Technical Colleges. SCC launched this catalog under the name of STACS....STACS stands for Spartanburg Tech's Automated Catalog System. STACS served the SCC community well. Below are scenes from when the old card catalog file drawers were carted off in the Summer of 1995, never to be missed. Thank you, automation!
