Search 57 academic libraries across South Carolina, including Clemson and USC, and request books to be sent to you at SCC (requests usually take about 1 week to arrive). This is only for requesting books -- you cannot request videos or other materials. More Information
If you can't find materials at SCC, you can search the other libraries in Spartanburg area -- both public
libraries and college libraries. The public libraries, in particular, will have a much larger fiction and video/cd/book on tape section
than we have available here at SCC.
If you can't find the materials you need through Pascal, or at another local library, you may request materials through Interlibrary Loan. SCC will request the materials from another library on your behalf and they will be delivered here for you to check out.
Search online books that Google has scanned to make available on the
web. If the book is out of copyright, or the publisher has given Google permission, you'll be able to see a
preview of the book, and in some cases the entire text. If it's in the public domain, you're free to download a
PDF copy. For books that are not free, you can buy the book or find the closest library to you that has the book;
books may also be requested via Interlibrary Loan (see library staff member).
